Silk Road Musings is hub of Islamic Studies Research created to make Dr. Feryal Salem’s work accessible to a broad audience. Dr. Salem is both a professor and historian. In addition to teaching, Dr. Salem hosts immersive tours around the world in locations such as Iran, Zanzibar, and Uzbekistan. Dr. Salem’s branding was inspired by the history of Islam on the ancient silk and spice routes. We designed the logo and website for Silk Road Musings with Islamic imagery and history in mind.
