Aging in the Bay is an environment that supports older adults, caregivers, and families through community resources and guidance. For this project, the goal was to create a logo that feels clear and easy to recognize. In the care and support field, branding plays an important role in helping people feel comfortable and connected to an organization. Because of this, the design needed to present a strong identity while remaining simple enough to work across both digital and print materials.

The Challenge:

One of the main goals of this project was to create a brand identity that people can quickly recognize and remember. For organizations centered around care and community, a logo often shapes a person’s first impression before they ever reach out or learn more. Because of this, the design process focused on finding the right balance between professionalism and approachability. Every part of the logo needed to feel intentional so the brand could communicate trust.


A waterfront house sits behind a dock with an American flag. Overlaid is a nature-inspired logo with a bridge and the text “AGING IN THE BAY.” Trees, a partly cloudy sky, and hints of a nature preserve complete the peaceful scene.

Our APPROACH:

The final design was built to give Aging in the Bay a brand identity that feels steady and easy to recognize across different spaces. Rather than relying on overly detailed elements, the logo uses a simple visual approach that keeps the focus on the organization itself.
